WHAT DO WE WANT TO SEE IN THE LIFE OF EVERY A3 LEADER?
Here are the four outcomes of A3 that we have learned from nearly six decades of experience gathering a dozen or so leaders into a learning community, uniting them, developing them, and releasing them into a season of increased effectiveness.
Effective ministry flows from our relationship with God—from the inside out. After 10-15 years in ministry, leaders can begin to lose their connection to the Lord—relying more on their strengths and experience. This brings trouble and weakens the impact of their ministry. In contrast, leaders who continue to deepen their love of God are transformed and can bring powerful change to their sphere of influence.
Effective leaders who abide with Jesus, lead more and more like Jesus. Flowing out of transformed hearts, they exhibit fruits of the Spirit and grow in Christlikeness. If leaders are not growing in Christlikeness, ministry can get off track and they are more susceptible to spiritual plateau and abuse of power.
Fruitful leaders say, “Follow me as I follow Jesus”. They live out that truth by reproducing themselves in others and equipping those new disciples to follow their example to make more disciples. This is the heart of the Great Commission to make disciples who not only follow Jesus but also make more disciples.
Fruitful leaders build kingdom movements to expand the reach of their ministries. Starting new witnessing communities for spiritual growth, outreach, and multiplication gives more people access to Christ’s life-changing power. Launching new missional businesses brings about God-honoring change. Catalyzing movements advance the kingdom and bring momentum that transform people, families, cities, and countries.
A3 leaders are carrying the opportunity to reach many people in their local communities with the transforming message of Jesus Christ. They are strategically positioned and poised to grow alongside other leaders with shared purpose.
Most of our participants experience typical paradigm_shifts resulting from their 2-year transformational process.
Isolation to Connection
Leaders shift from living and working in isolation (because it's faster, no one tells you "No!", and there's little accountability) to being connected to others, especially other leaders.
Hierarchy to Community
Leaders shift from being stuck in hierarchy (becuase of culture or denominational levels) to living in community with others.
Mega to Multi
Leaders shift from working to build their own empire of a large church or business to gaining vision for launching many churches or businesses for the Lord's Kindgom purposes.
Personal Growth to Disciplemakiing
Leaders shift from desiring merely to grow personally (which isn't a bad motivation) to adopt a vision for disciplemaking, reproducing themselves in others toward building up God's Kingdom.
Narrow Vision to Broad Vision
Leaders shift from seeing themselves in their own small network of their local church or denomination to seeing God's plan for their country, region, or world. They begin to see genuine believers of all stripes as brothers and sisters.

Periodically we try to assess whether we are meeting the mark and being fruitful in our overall ministry thus we try various ways to discern how effective we are. Evaluation is crucial to see if we are on target.
This past quarter, we anonymously surveyed our alumni on our effectiveness. The results affirmed what we have discovered in other studies as well as from the stories of impact that we are always hearing. Given the results of this survey and how much they aligned with what we’ve been hearing all along, we thought it worthy to share these with you.

A3 Leaders are placed within a safe learning community which accelerates their growth during the two-year program. But this connection extends well beyond graduation. They form long-term friendships and often remain connected to one another as ministry peers and sometimes continue on in partnership.

A3 has forged partnerships with many other organizations and numerous indigenous movements for shared Kingdom advancements. These organizations and networks partner, collaborate, and share faculty with us. One notable contribution is that most of the groups focused on the Persecuted Church are now using our course on Helping Leaders Thrive through Persecution. This includes the Alliance for Defending Freedom,, Voice of the Martyrs, Open Doors with Brother Andrew, and the entire Religious Liberty Partnership.
